Born in Nashville, TN, her family moved to Rockford, TN when she was five. Mia grew up in a family where sports were a part of daily life.
She graduated from Alcoa High School in Alcoa, TN, where she developed a passion for writing.
In her free time she enjoys playing basketball, writing and listening to music.
