Denise Barnaby is a graduate student hoping to begin the Public Relations program in the Fall. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee. After graduation, she moved to San Francisco for three years and worked as a heavy litigation paralegal for the firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP, in the antitrust practice group. She currently works in the University's alumni relations office and lives in North Knoxville with her longtime partner, Myron Franklin, and their animal family of two Japanese Chins, two cats, and one fish.  A self-proclaimed foodie, wine geek, and coffee snob, she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, and traveling. Her goal is to one day return to San Francisco and work in the Ketchum agency Brand department in Wine Industry Public Relations. Her ultimate dream is to go in-house with a vineyard in wine country.
