Cliff Chartrand is a junior in Journalism and Electronic Media. He was born and raised in Clarksville where he attended Rossview High School.
Chartrand has been involved in sports since his early life and credits his father, Danny, and grandfather, Mike Ellis, for instilling his love of athletics.
In 1995, Cliff made his first visit to Neyland Stadium with his grandfather. It was then, at age eight, that he decided UT was where he would attend college.
Other than UT athletics, the junior lists the Tennessee Titans and New York Mets as his favorite teams.
During his time at UT, Chartrand has worked as a stringer for various newspapers, a host and producer of WUTK's Rock Solid Sports, a contract editor with Scripps Networks and an editorial intern with CountryHound.com.
After college, Cliff hopes to cover sports in a large media market.
