The film Children Without Childhood, which was shown in the University of Tennessee's library, shows how children in Uganda are regularly kidnapped in the night by soldiers of the Lord's Resistance Army. They are then trained as soldiers and sent out to fight against their own people. Some escape and some do not. Those who do escape try to live normal lives again, all the while seeking a reason for what they have returned.
