In Butch Jones’ weekly Monday press conference, he recapped Tennessee’s 15-9 loss to South Carolina last week, updated injuries and previewed the Vols’ matchup with Nick Saban and Alabama on Saturday.
Wide receiver Brandon Johnson spoke to the media about the final play in the Volunteers’ loss, his thoughts on Jarrett Guarantano’s leadership and the Crimson Tide’s talent heading into the rivalry week. Defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie gave his thoughts on kicker Brent Cimaglia, the play of Guarantano and the state of Tennessee football going into week eight.
