A fire was reported in the Old City Wednesday evening. Industrial Belting & Supply Company has collapsed from the flames.

Marion Kirkpatrick, an editor with TNJN, was near the scene having coffee at Remedy of Jackson ave. when the fire occurred.

"Around 9:45 p.m. everyone in the shop started smelling smoke, so I went with my friend to investigate. People were standing around watching the huge flames and smoke," she said. "The flames were at least 100 ft high. After about 10 minutes of watching, the entire center of the building collapsed."
