Victoria’s Secret is sponsoring a free DIY make-up event in Humes Residence Hall on Thursday, March 14 from 6-8 p.m. entitled "Makeup Madness."

Hosted by HHRA, a dorm-run organization that holds programs and fundraisers, “Makeup Madness” will offer a variety of DIY facials and lotions made from all natural ingredients, such as fruit and oatmeal. In addition, tips on proper cosmetic brush cleaning and cosmetic samples from local area makeup artists and stores will be given out.

“This event was chosen for the residents of Humes in honor of Women’s History Month to offer something engaging the girls could partake in,” said Natalie Torres, floor representative coordinator of Humes Hall.

Victoria’s Secret sponsors this event through coordination with UT’s campus Victoria’s Secret representative for UT dorm events. A perk of UT’s coordination with the campus representative is the first 50 attendees will receive a gift makeup bag.

Torres said anyone can attend this free event, especially other residents in Presidential Court.

"The more the merrier,” she said.
