Jack Hanna, TV host and Knoxville native, will be speaking at Cox Auditorium Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Hanna started his animal career helping with a local veterinarian. He then went on to own a pet store, and eventually became the director for the Columbus Zoo.

In 1993, Hanna became the host for the TV show "Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures", and after 10 years he started his show "Jack Hanna's Into the Wild", which won an Emmy for children's programming.  Now, years after two successful TV shows, he has started a new television show called "Jack Hanna's Wild Countdown" on ABC channels around the nation.

Not only will Hanna be speaking about his experiences on TV and his many "adventures" with animals, he will also be bringing some guests of his own; his animals!

The identities of these animals are being kept a surprise, but the issue's committee promises it will be a great time with tons of great animals.

Students may get their tickets at the central ticket office, or call 865-974-3381. For other visitors tickets can be purchased at Knoxville Tickets or by calling 865-656-4444.
