On Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2011 the Campus Entertainment Board along with the Central Program Council put on their annual Spring Coffeehouse event in the University Center Ballroom. The Coffeehouse event is a student led talent showcase. The student performers are diverse. Performances included acoustic guitars, singer/songwriters, slam poetry, spoken word and stand up comedy.

The performers are aspiring UT students who are trying to further their careers in the entertainment industry. It is an opportunity for the students to perform their talents in front of other artists and students.

The Spring Coffeehouse was also an opportunity for UT student to socialize with other students who share their same interests with the entertainment business.

The Spring Coffeehouse is a free event open to UT students and the public. Free food and refreshments were provided. The event is sponsored by the Campus Entertainment Board and the Central Program Council.
