A few seniors from Oak Ridge High School have titled their band Jennifer and Lopez, but their musical style bears no similarity to that of the pop star.

Sam Simmons has played pretty much every instrument you can think of during his 18 years of life, and now his talents are coming to fruition through the band. Together with Molly Ensign-Simmons (no relation), Nick Ducko and Albert Painter, Jennifer and Lopez is able to make music that sounds like it's straight from a professional record label.

Recently, Jennifer and Lopez placed first in the Oak Ridge Battle of the Bands. They plan to start playing shows in Knoxville soon, as well as release their first EP.
