The VolWalk of Life's purpose was to reorient students with the resources UT has to offer them, and the theme was based around the popular board game Life.

Representatives from various colleges and organizations set up booths to show students what resources are available to them for their academic success.

Students were given a game card and had to complete it by visiting their college and other organizations; they also had to visit the graduation booth to complete the game.

Basketball coaches Bruce Pearl and Pat Summitt were in attendance and talked to students about success.
