UT student researchers will have another way to present their findings in the future. Starting in the spring of 2010 the UT Office of Research will be releasing a new student research journal, PURSUIT.

The articles will present analysis-based reports of scientific projects, critical scholarship, and critiques of creative works.

"What we are hoping to accomplish is to provide an outlet for all the great undergraduate research that's being done at UT" said Rebekah Page, Assistant Director of the Chancellor's Honors Program.

The Chancellor's Honors Program is also supporting the journal.

"Those students deserve to be recognized, as well as the faculty with whom they are working," said Page.

Page hopes that students who are not currently involved in research will be encouraged to do so when they see their fellow student's work.
