All Campus Theater presents 'The Underpants'

The Underpants, a production brought to you by Carl Sternheim, adapted by funny man Steve Martin, and presented by the All Campus Theater, will have your side-splitting from laughter and tears dripping from your eyes. If you enjoy ingenious wit and mocking the bourgeoisie, this play is right for you.

The story follows a middle class German couple, and the hilarity starts right from the get-go when the young wife's underpants fall down, in public, while waving to the king. This embarrassing slight transforms her into an object of desire, and the relationship between husband and wife is strained. Poets, barbers and busy-bodies will keep you entertained in this slapstick about lust, fame and gender relations.

The Underpants is a 100 percent student created production taking place in the Clarence Brown Lab Theater for a mere $5 for students or $8 for public. So put on your underpants, grab your lederhosen and make your way to the theater at 8 p.m. now until Nov. 15.
