The Latin American Culture week is this Tuesday through Thursday and is hosted by the International House. On Tuesday, there will be Tango dance lessons. Then Wednesday, Latin American culture night and Spanish language table. Finally on Thursday, there will be a movie viewing. All events take place at the International House.
The Latin American Tango dance lessons will take place at 6 p.m. and the cost is free. It will be in the International House Great Room.
"Professional Tango dancers from Knoxville Argentine Tango Society are going to teach you the perfect steps of original Tango dance," read an I-house pamphlet.
There will also be free Tango music CD's offered as door prizes.
The Spanish language table will take place at the International House Dining Room from 5-6 p.m. Directly after the language table will be the Latin American culture night.
The Latin American Culture Night will be held in the International House Great Room, and will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. It will celebrate Mexican culture, traditional food, fashion, and highlight the history of music and dance.
Tickets will go on sale at 6 p.m. and the cost is $6 for culture night.
The movie viewing will show Under the Same Moon and also be held in the International House Great Room. The show is free.
