If Homecoming week zapped your ready cash supply, this week there are still fun events to enjoy without spending a load of cash.

Tuesday, Bruce Pearl invites you to the men's basketball inter-squad scrimmage at 4 p.m. at Thompson-Boling Arena.  If prizes from Tennessee Athletics and the opportunity to meet the players aren't enough, Coach Pearl will also take questions from the audience.

Tuesday evening, UT Film Committee presents the dinosaur suspense tale Jurassic Park. This free movie starts at 7 p.m. in the UC Auditorium.

Wednesday is Veteran's Day!  Honoring veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, a parade on Gay Street starts at 10:30 a.m.  This year's theme is P.O.W./M.I.A.

Also Wednesday, Stephanie Nills and Four Leaf Peat will perform for the Blue Plate Special at the WDVX Visitor's Center on the corner of Gay Street and Summit Hill Drive at noon.  Please note that the parade will go directly in front of the Visitor's Center and parking will be tricky that day. Four Leaf Peat will perform Saturday at the Laurel Theater for $14, but you can catch them at the Blue Plate for free.
