Students joined in worship and praise at the Passion University Tour in a packed Cox Auditorium on Nov. 3.

Headliners included Christian bands Fee and Charlie Hall who played several popular worship songs including Charlie Hall's "All I Need" and "How Great Thou Art," and performed several new songs such as Fee's "Glory to God Forever" and "Glorious One."

Passion, an annual Christian worship conference, was started by pastor Louie Giglio in 1995. Since then, over a million students from across the nation and even parts of the world, have attended Passion.

According to the Passion Web site, Passion's goal is to "glorify God-uniting students in worship and prayer for spiritual awakening in this generation."

Though Giglio did not attend the show, students viewed a pre-recorded message on video. In his message, Giglio stated, "I know that God is on campus tonight."

According to Giglio, the idea of Passion began with the idea of the "university moment," a time when many students are experiencing faith.

Giglio said, "We believe that crossroads in life changes everything... we believe that crossroads is the vital moment which determines who you were to who you are about to become."

This year's conference is from Jan. 2 through Jan. 5 in Atlanta, according to the official Passion Web site, more than 20,000 university students are expected to attend.
