Gamma Sigma Sigma, a service sorority, will hold Pancakes for Parkinson's, a fundraiser to raise money for the Michael J. Fox foundation, at the University of Tennessee's International House on April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
After paying an entry fee guest will be giving all-you-can-eat pancakes that will be served by the Gamma Sigma girls.
The prices for this fundraiser are $5 pre-sale, $6 at the door with a student ID, and $7.5 for a general admission.
All pancakes will be made by the Gamma Sigma Sigma girls.
"It should be a fun day for a good cause. We want everyone to come and enjoy some pancakes while we raise money for the fight to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. We are expecting a good turn out," Kate Spencer, a junior in journalism and electronic media and a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma, said.
Pancakes for Parkinson's was founded in 2004 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and has since expanded to include other campuses.
