Common New Year's resolutions include getting in shape and losing weight.  People often start the year with the best of intentions, but when March rolls around many have already quit.

Weight-Loss Strategies:

  • Write down everything you eat
  • Snack - eat smaller meals throughout the day
  • Know how many calories you burn and how many you eat
  • Do exercise you enjoy
  • Have a support system
  • Don't eliminate your favorite foods, just moderate them
  • Eat slowly
  • Drink eight to 10 glasses of water every day
