UFC 100 airs on July 11 at 10 p.m. The event is available only on pay-per-view, but some restaurants show it for the price of dinner and a few drinks.

The Knoxville restaurants and bars that will televise the fights include Buffalo Wild Wings on Cumberland Avenue, Hooters on Kingston Pike and Merchants Drive, Rooster's on Papermill Road and Bailey's Sports Grille on Seven Oaks Drive. To have a seat management recommends to arrive no later than 8:45 p.m.

UFC has exploded in the last few years taking millions of fans along for the bumpy ride. Young adults are the primary audience for the sport so it is important to know the most economical way to enjoy it.

There are many options a fan of UFC has to watch the pay-per-view fights. A fan can see the fight in the arena for up to $100,000 a seat. One can pay for it at home for $44.95 for standard definition or $54.95 for high definition viewing, plus taxes.

A manager at Buffalo Wild Wings explained the experience at his restaurant is unlike the other restaurants. He described the atmosphere as an audience of good people cheering on their favorite fighters. The staff also enjoys working during the showing of the UFC fights because they stay busy and the energy is so high.

"We have all the big screen TV's and really pump up the sound so no one has any problem hearing the commentary," the manager said.

July 11 is a special day for fans, and if you have never seen UFC it would be the ideal day to experience it for the first time. UFC is calling the night "the biggest event in mixed martial arts history."

Georges St-Pierre will put his title on the line to battle Thiago Alves, while fellow titleholder Brock Lesnar defends his crown against Frank Mir. Additionally, the coaches of "The Ultimate Fighter" TV series will fight in a clash between the U.K. and U.S. This acts as a finale to the show for UFC fans who have watched the program's UFC hopefuls endure a season of fighting to win a spot in the UFC.

Good food plus the group of insane yelling fans makes for a sports night with a punch.
