UT's Office of Information Technology is considering offering students services like Gmail for their e-mail in order to alleviate many of the problems with the current system, T-mail.
If the plan goes through, students will keep their .UTK.edu e-mail extension, but have access to new features, such as extended customer support, no maintenance periods, and more storage capacity. In addition, students would be able to send and receive large files as attachments.
The following video highlights some of the more common problems with T-mail. It does not express the editorial opinion of the TNJN staff or any individual in particular.
