Due to extreme weather conditions at the North Pole, Chris Cringle was forced to announce that Christmas day gifts would not be able to be delivered to anyone in the world.

Reference to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer by concerned onlookers was the solution for a way of lighting the way for Christmas gifting to still occur.

Heavy fog and light snow were the reasons for the difficulty in flying the sleigh at wee hours of the night because of limited light source.

Cringle decided to quickly recruit some source of light to guide his sleigh in extreme determination to deliver Christmas gifts and joy, and was notified by a fellow reindeer of his crew that Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer, an outcast to reindeer society, could be the solution.

Cringle notified Rudolph, who was overjoyed with his potential debut, of his need for his bright red nose as a light source and was pleased when Rudolph accepted.

"Rudolph had a cheery upbeat attitude and gladly accepted my proposal for him to guide me through what could be potentially be a dangerous night, which I greatly respect him for," said Cringle when asked how Rudolph responded to his emergency contact.
