The Howard Baker Center is hosting an election party Tuesday night that will start at 8:30 p.m. and go on until the election is decided or everyone gets tired.

Several events are planned for the evening, including an election bracket competition, presidential trivia, board games and tours of the building and museum during the down time.

The party is free of charge and includes food and drink throughout the night. Gavin Luter, coordinator for the center, said the party is open to anybody from the campus community.

The event serves both as an informal social setting to watch the election results and as a way to introduce students to the new building, which was opened Oct. 31.

"It gives students a cool opportunity to come in here and see what's available for use," Luter said.
