Sen. Barack Obama decidely won the Mississippi caucus Tuesday, likely in part because of Clinton's comments earlier in the campaign season when she said she was surprised "...Iowans were equal with Mississippi at anything."
Obama won 61 percent of the vote, 255,809 votes and picked up 19 of the 33 delegates according to MSNBC.com. He picked up 61 percent of the male vote and 58 percent of the female vote in Mississippi. He also got virtually all of the black vote, 92 percent, but only acquired 26 percent of the white vote. Obama now has a total of 1,398 delegates.
We have now basically recovered whatever delegates we may have lost in Texas and Ohio, and we have a substantial lead. Senator Barack Obama"We have now basically recovered whatever delegates we may have lost in Texas and Ohio, and we have a substantial lead," Obama said.
Clinton got 14 delegates at the caucus with 37 percent of the vote, 155,686 votes. She received 38 percent of the male vote and 39 percent of the female vote in that state. While she acquired 70 percent of the white vote, she only got 8 percent of the black vote. Clinton's total delegate count is now 1,244.
Clinton and Obama will now shift their focus to Pennsylvania, whose primary is just over a month away on April 22.
With the Democratic race still neck to neck, Pennsylvania's 178 delegates will be pivotal in deciding the eventual nominee.
"Now we look foward to campagining in Pennsylvania and around the county," said Maggie Williams, Clinton's campaign manager.

Who is "her" and "she" referring to in the first paragraph. My guess would be Hillary Clinton, but I do not think there was a reference to her. It only has pronouns.
And also can anyone explain how Obama received 92% of the black vote and Hillary received 26% of the black vote.

Ah, please make a correction to your cutline above...that event was a night rally on Feb. 22 in Austin, Texas and not in Mississippi. I should know...I'm "jmtimages", the one who took the photograph. Thanks
