New human resource program to begin fall 2008

Students wishing to study human resource fields in depth will soon have that option with the new human resource masters program which will be implemented fall of 2008.

The program will be in the College of Business Administration. Courses will be offered in the late afternoon and evenings in the fall according to the UT Web site.

"The program is designed for professionals in public, private and nonprofit organizations who want to study human resource topics in depth," the Web site said. "Students will be prepared to sit for the Professional in Human Resources certification exam upon program completion."

An informational meeting will be held Tuesday, March 4 in the Stokely Management Center room 402 at 5 p.m.
