The Tennessee Volunteers will return home on February 5th after a tough two game road trip to host the Florida Gators in a SEC East showdown. The Vols traveled to Tuscaloosa to play Alabama and will have been to Starkville, Mississippi to play Mississippi State.
Tennessee after their last home win over the Georgia Bulldogs improved them to 40-2 at home in coach Bruce Pearl's 3 year tenure and improved the home winning streak to 27 straight wins. The two time defending national champion Gators however will bring a new type of team than anyone is use to with the exception of their coach Billy Donovan. They graduated all five of their starters and have mostly freshmen picking up where the previous two left off with a convincing win over Vanderbilt.
