The University of Tennessee's chapter of the NAACP will host its annual week in February from the 25th-29th. Many events will be held to help celebrate Black History Month.
A couple of events included will be a voter registration drive held on pedestrian walkway where hot chocolate and coffee will be handed out. A debate about the relevance of the NAACP in today's society will also be held.
The climax of the week will be on Friday the 29th where a celebration of black history Gala will be held. Food will be served; music, entertainment and information about black history will be given out. The dress for the event will be cosmopolitan.
