Heath Ledger, 28, who was known for his roles in "Brokeback Mountain" and "A Knight's Tale" died of a possible drug overdose Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Ledger was found on the floor by a housekeeper around 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to CNN. Although the police have not determined the cause of death, there were perscription drugs found in the apartment. Ledger was declared dead at 3:30 p.m. according to CNN.
Ledger was born April 4, 1979 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. He started acting in 1992 with the film "Clowning Around" according to the Internet Movie Database. His acting credits include:

Ellen Borakove, a spokesperson for the New York City medical examiner's office, said an autopsy would be peformed Wednesday.
Ledger is survived by daughter Matilda Rose, age 2.
