The University of Tennessee Film Committee will be hosting an Oscar party on Feb. 24 in the UC Auditorium.

To celebrate the biggest night in movies, the Film Committee will be decked out in full celebrity style, and they invite everyone to follow their lead.

In previous years, there has not been a large turnout for the event. It was not held last year because of poor attendance. This time, they hope for a larger audience.

"We really hope people come out and support the committee because we are here for them and we want to share one of the greatest movie nights with fellow students," said Public Relations representative Merri Shaffer.

This year, there may even be prizes given out to those who correctly guess the winners in each category.  The screening will be free to all who come, and everybody is welcome to attend.
