The sororities at the University of Tennessee are going to have the box and envelope in Panhellenic this Monday (February?11th) and it will be there the following Monday (February 18th) to donate clothing and spare change for the students at Union University.
Union University was practically destroyed and several students ?have been left with very little. Soon they will be bulldozing over the? wreckage so several students will not be able to salvage anything.
Leigh Ann Wilhite, the President of Alpha Omicron Pi, said “We really? need everyone to help out with this cause and it would only take ten minutes? to clean out your closets, bag it up, and bring it to meeting.”
Wilhite said, “Great things ?to donate include sweaters, t-shirts, any kind of pants, shoes, you name it? they need it. “ with all the help of each sorority they will be able to help out the young women who have lost their belonging’s in the tornado.
Wilhite added, “Also, if you know any guys with old clothing that they do not ?wear that would be a great donation as well!” These clothes from the young men will really help out since there aren’t as many men donating to the University.
