Finally bowl season is here. One of the best times of the year to be a couch potato is upon us as 34 bowls will be played from today through Jan. 8.
As always, TNJN gets involved with picking games. Managing editor Cliff Chartrand, sports editor Chris Mitchell and assistant sports editor Grant Ramey square off in a confidence pool that was introduced during last year's bowl season.
Ramey rallied during Championship Week to force a tie atop the standings with Chartrand, correctly picking three of the four games the two differed on. Both finished with a record of 102-48 on the year, while Mitchell tries to redeem his name from an otherwise disappointing season.
Each player has ranked every pick from No. 1 to No. 32 and will receive points on correct choices based on how confident they are in their selection.
Points received for a correct choice are in parentheses. Standings will be updated following the conclusion of each game and can by found beside each players name.
