InSight UT: Pets line up to take their pictures with Santa Claus from Rebecca Illig on Vimeo. (Length 2:50)

The winter months are hard on the homeless, and the Young-Williams Animal Center is doing its part to help homeless animals with the "Pet Pictures with Santa Claws" event.

On Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 pet owners took their animals to the Agri Feed Pet Supply store to get their pictures taken with Santa Claus.

Many owners said they participated in the event because they wanted to support the Young-Williams Animal Center. Others said they just wanted a Christmas keepsake.

Young-Williams is holding the event one more time this holiday season at the center on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Young-Williams Animal Center takes in stray animals, returns lost pets, conducts an adoption program, educates the community on pet care and more.
