Dark chocolate lowers blood pressure

One of life's graces is chocolate. Packed with calories and saturated fats eating too much can be very detrimental to our figures and curves, but just how healthy is chocolate?

While white chocolate and milk chocolate can make our abs disappear in the blink of an eye, in an independent study, dark chocolate has been scientifically proven to lower the blood pressure of middle-aged participants with high blood pressure.

This however is not the only plus of eating dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is packed with many vital antioxidants that help keep our bodies working in equilibrium. Researchers found the participants that ate a bar of dark chocolate everyday for three weeks lowered their blood pressure by an average of two points.

The same is found to be true about eating dark chocolate for total body detoxification. Collective blood counts were taken one hour after consuming a bar of dark chocolate and researchers found that these counts presented fascinating information.

The subjects were found to have 100 percent of all necessary antioxidants to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This is not an excuse to go on a dark-chocolate binge. It can still pack on the pounds faster than liposuction can remove them. Like everything in life, balance can keep people healthy. So balance your dark chocolate intake and you will be healthy and happy.
