A stout Texas A&M defense and a dislocated left shoulder were not enough to stop Candace Parker.

Parker scored 26 points to lead the Tennessee Lady Vols to their 18th Final Four with a 53-45 victory over the Aggies in Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

The junior was forced to the bench on two occasions in the first half and did not play in the second half until the final 10 minutes after dislocating her shoulder while making a steal less than four minutes before halftime.

However, Parker led her team to a comeback win after the Aggies went ahead 42-37 following the halftime break, scoring six points during the 8-0 run that put the Lady Vols back in front for good.

A&M held Tennessee to its lowest point total of the season, but the Lady Vols were able to make up for their field goal shooting woes by scoring 24 points at the foul line.

The Aggies were unable to capitalize on their defense as they shot just under 32 percent for the game, including a 6-for-27 performance in the second half. Takia Starks led the way for A&M with 12 points and five rebounds.

Alexis Hornbuckle joined Parker in double-figures for the Lady Vols with 14 points, including a clutch 3-pointer in the final minute to stretch Tennessee's lead to five.

The Lady Vols will face LSU in the Final Four on Sunday. The two teams split a pair of meetings this season, with LSU winning in the regular season at Thompson-Boling Arena before Tennessee won a rematch in the SEC Championship game.
