Even though there is no UT football game there is still plenty of action to get you through your weekend. The football pickings are slim, but the National League playoff race is gearing up for an exciting finish.

Friday

Baseball: San Diego @ Milwaukee, 7:05 ESPN

The Brewers will have to win the rest of their games in order to make the playoffs, and they'll also need the Cubs to lose the rest of theirs. Crazier things have happened.

Two of the nation's top offenses square off as Cal tries to end their 20-year streak without a win at Oregon.

NCAA Football: Alabama @ Florida State, 5 p.m. CBS

It turns out Nick Saban is indeed fallible. After a tough loss to Georgia, the Tide will try to regroup at Florida State.  Bobby Bowden's struggling offense sure could use a win like this.

Brett Favre is just one touchdown away from surpassing Dan Marino's career touchdown mark.
