As a hair stylist and woman of ever-changing hair colors, I consider myself an expert in the field of all things peroxide. Having had both blond and brunette hair at some point it is fair to say that I could see both ends of the spectrum.
Myth #1: Blonds having more fun than brunettes (or any other hue) is totally false. As a natural mousey brown (how embarrassing) I have to say that I always have fun. I do find it true that blonds get more attention, so if you like that I guess they do have fun. However, we can't confuse attention with fun. I did not like the attention I got as a blond and therefore had less fun.
Myth #2: Brunettes are smart and blonds are stupid. As a true brunette I will obviously not contridict that, but I will say that I know a lot of smart blonds as well. Hair pigment has nothing to do with IQ. Oh, and peroxide absolutely has nothing to do with it. The chemicals that are used to lift hair pigments has a very small effect on one's body, let alone their intellect. I have literally colored my hair hundreds of times over the past 10 years and have experienced no change in my body or mind.
Now for the tricky part. As a stylist, I know that most of the "blonds" out there aren't really blonds. So perhaps brunettes have all the fun and they like to bleach out all the pigment from their hair. Maybe they have more fun because they have a secret. (shhh!!) Maybe they have fun getting their hair done, who knows? One thing is certain, there is no measurable difference in intellect between blonds and brunettes.

We shouldn't forget to mention how red heads fit into the equation. I think red head hair might have the most affect on perception out of those three.

You shouldn't be embarassed that you are a mousy brown Brunette.
I doubt that anyone remembers it now but back when women weren't embarassed about being mousy brown Brunettes the men were allowed to love mousy brown Brunettes and there was a song called "Jeannie, With the Light Brown Hair".
Due to the fact that so many women now are "tricky" peroxide experts the men are forced to deal with "blonds" that aren't really Blondes.
Men actually find these Bleached Brunette women to be embarassing but there are so many of them so willing to be embarassing that the guys have gotten used to treating them like 'tricky' public blow-up dolls.
Men will only put up with these women if they hide behind the good name Blonde because the name Bleached Brunette just has ick written all over it.
Soon people will be talking about Dumb Bleached Brunette jokes and Bleached Brunette Moments and the mousy brown Brunettes will probably stop being Bleached Brunettes.
This will be better for everyone.
