Stuck without a ticket or just needing to enjoy the football games with some die hard UT fans? Well here's a list every fan should keep posted on the fridge.

The best places to watch Tennessee football:

Chili's on the strip
While specials may not be offered, Chili's has a lot more to look forward to when it comes to game day.

  • Four flat screen televisions in the bar area
  • Smallest is forty-one inches, largest fifty-one inches
  • Broadcasts all UT games
  • Seats 70 in the bar area, but the maximum capacity of the restaurant is 240
  • During the games, Chili's has an officer in the bar area for crowd control.
  • Open untill midnight Friday and Saturday
  • 2 for 1 specials on drinks untill 10 p.m.

Chili's is an extremely popular restaurant for before and after the game, and while they may be owned by a large corporation, Chili's is still an excellent place for game day entertainment.

Buffalo Wild Wings
The main bar and grill on the strip, Buffalo Wild Wings, lives up to its reputation by giving UT fans all the entertainment they could need.

  • Four projectors inside
  • 20-25 smaller televisions scattered around the restaurant
  • Two big-screen TVs
  • One plasma TV on the outside deck
  • Fridays before the games, live bands play on the outside deck.
  • WIVK usually comes out to entertain the crowd.
  • Used to be a before and after restaurant but now have also centered around the half-time costumers.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a great restaurant for away games and home, all the televisions and entertainment bring in the crowd while the food keeps them full, but expect no specials.

Mellow Mushroom
A restaurant with great food and exciting entertainment, Mellow Mushroom gives the crowd exactly what they need.

  • Eleven televisions scattered around the restaurant
  • Nine televisions inside, two on the outside deck
  • Extra space only open specifically for game days
  • Mellow Mushroom is extremely popular for the Georgia game.
  • Loud speakers are turned on during the game when the music is not playing.
  • Depending on the scenario, win or lose, Mellow Mushroom could have a line out to the street or barely full.
  • One special thing that happens takes place in the parking lot. A few guys who control parking grill outside. They are usually around at 9 a.m. and grill until around 3 p.m.

Mellow Mushroom is a great place to eat and watch the game and even if you don't want to deal with the crowd around the bar you can enjoy the fast service and watch the game from a booth.

Downtown Grill and Brewery

  • Located n historical downtown Knoxville, the Downtown Grill and Brewery gives the older viewers a great place to watch the UT game.
  • Offers several diverse dishes for viewers
  • Large and spacious
  • Night billiards in an up-stairs facility.
  • Contains two televisions above the bar for fans to watch the game
  • A quieter scenario

Though farther away and a little costly for college students, Downtown Grill and Brewery gives older fans the quieter room for watching and enjoying the game.

Football season is in full swing ladies and gentlemen and whether your watching it from the dorm room or enjoying eating out, all the volunteer fans are supporting the team.
