The TNJN.com sports staff is back, but this time looking into the future at the profesional level.

In the AFC, The Patriots, Colts and Chargers were all picked to take their respective divisions, with the Bengals and Ravens finishing in a dead heat in the North. Other teams chosen to make the playoffs as a wild card are the Steelers, Bills and Titans.

On the NFC side, the Eagles, Bears and 49ers were the favorites in their divisions, with the Saints and Panthers locked in the South. Wild card choices include the Cowboys, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals and Falcons.

Looking towards the end of the season former California tailback Marshawn Lynch is picked by two of the panel to win the Rookie of the Year award over Calvin Johnson, Bradon Jackson and Adrian Peterson, while LaDanian Tomlinson and Peyton Manning are each picked by two soothsayers to grab MVP honors this season ahead of Carson Palmer and Drew Brees.

The New England Patriots are picked by half the panel to grab their fourth Super Bowl ring...two of them have the Pats over the Bears, with one over the Saints.  The Broncos and the Chargers are also picked to take home the Lombardi Trophy.
