The College of Communication and Information and UT's Career Services will host a job and internship fair Thursday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UC ballroom.

The fair is open to all students, but it targets those specifically enrolled in the college.

"More than 35 employers will be on hand to recruit students for jobs and internships," said CCI's Web site.

There will be internships, full-time and part-time jobs available with Citadel Broadcasting, Knoxville News Sentinel, News Channel 5, Scripps Networks, Tennessee Press Associations and many others.

Career Services is also providing a session at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in Room 309 of the Communications Building where students will learn how to thoroughly prepare for a job fair.

"We are hoping CCI students will take advantage of this great opportunity to network with so many professional organizations and explore job and internship opportunities," said Dr. Sam Swan, CCI director of Internationalization and Outreach.
