From comedy to sitcoms, Engvall made his acting debut on the sitcom "Designing Women." He later held a regular role on short-lived spin-off "Delta." In 1996 he signed with Warner Bros. and released his debut album "Here's Your Sign," which was named after his most famous comedy bit. Later on Engvall toured with Jeff Foxworthy and joined him on the short-lived sitcom "The Jeff Foxworthy Show."

He has toured with Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White and Larry the Cable Guy for the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour," which was later turned into a successful movie and cable television show.  Currently he has a sitcom on TBS call "The Bill Engvall Show" and "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again" will be premiering on Comedy Central later this year.
