The Studio, part of UT's Media Center , offers classes and media equipment that can be accessed by any member of the UT community. The teaching lab environment exists to assist in the creation of projects, general knowledge of technology and specific use of programs.
As a part of the UT Libraries, The Studio offers free technological help and services for everyone at UT.
"The Studio offers one-on-one instruction in a teaching lab environment to assist in step-by-step creation of projects," Media Specialist II Trisha Brady said. "We also offer short courses, consultations, personalized classes and equipment checkout to faculty, staff and students of UT.

These classes include, but are not limited to, Apple iLife, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Final Cut Pro and Avid Pro Tools.
"I believe The Studio is one of the most utilized areas in the library," Brady said. "We still have students come in saying they didn't know we were here, but we have a steady business, and during crunch times it can be a little hectic."
The Studio is located on the second floor of Hodges Library next to the Media Center. It is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to midnight, Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to midnight.
