The Sorority Lip Sync performance was held Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. It was a chance for members of this year's pledge classes to bond with one another, as well as a chance to promote bonding among sororities. It also displayed the teamwork and friendship that can be found among sorority sisters.

The show, an anticipated success, proved to be just that. All 900 seats of Cox Auditorium in the Alumni Memorial Building were sold out. The audience was a mix of family members, friends and other supportive sorority sisters.

I saw that there was dedication. All the sororities were respectful to each other. The audience enjoyed the show. They were singing along and laughing. It was greaPrincess Page, Lip Sync judge.t. "I saw that there was dedication. All the sororities were respectful to each other. The audience enjoyed the show. They were singing along and laughing. It was great. This was all in good fun, not a serious matter but very organized and well put together," said UT senior and Lip Sync judge Princess Page.

Each sorority was required to learn lyrics and choreography, as well as create costumes for the show.

The performance was judged and recognition was given to the top three performing groups. Chi Omega, performing Aaron Carter songs, was named third place, Alpha Delta Pi, with Will Smith, was named second and Kappa Kappa Gamma with Avril Lavigne, was recognized as first place.

"This was an amazing show, and I was so honored to judge," Page said. "That was a must-see event! Congrats to Kappa Kappa Gamma on its win."
