For the past month, this years freshman sorority pledges have been busy learning lyrics and choreography for their lip-sync performance which will be held this Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Cox Auditorium.

It's been hard and time-consuming, but I've enjoyed working with as well as getting to know my pledge class sorority sisters." Shainna Prater, Alpha Delta Pi freshman Each sorority has been assigned music by popular 90's pop bands and artists, such as Will Smith, which will be put on by Alpha Delta Pi, Jennifer Lopez by Zeta Tau Alpha, Pink by Delta Delta Delta, among many others.

On Tuesday, Oct. 9, all the sororities got together for their first dress rehearsal and complete run-through. The girls kept the atmosphere light and fun while congratulating each other on successes and laughing at frustrating technical difficulties, such as a failing C.D. player.

The girls have been practicing late nights to perfect their lip-syncing and dancing. Freshman Phi Mu pledge, Alex Kleto says, "It's been fun; it's been challenging but overall I've really enjoyed it."

All the girls are very excited for this weeks performance and would like to remind all University of Tennessee students that it is an open performance and everyone is invited to attend.
