Award-winning Keith Urban will continue his current world tour with a stop in Knoxville this Thursday, Nov. 29. Tickets for the concert are priced starting at $24 for upper level seats to $63.50 for lower level seats. They are available through local retailers such as Cat's Music or online through the Tickets Unlimited outlet.
His tour entitled "Love, Pain, & the whole crazy World Tour" began early summer 2006 and was aptly named after his most recent studio album, "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Charts. The album's biggest hit, "Once in a Lifetime," broke the record for highest debuting album on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart (recently broken by Garth Brooks). This follows Urban's 2004, 2005 and 2006 CMA Male Vocalist of the Year wins.
Urban brought his adult contemporary style to the country music scene only eight years ago, and yet his career has been one of many triumphs and plenty of awards. So, it only seems appropriate that the musician celebrate his success with his first greatest hits album, which was released on Nov. 20. The album is entitled "Keith Urban Greatest Hits: 18 Kids" and includes all of his No.1 hits as well as his other Top 5 songs. Urban has also put a special touch on his new compilation album with a remake of "Got it Right This Time" and a cover of Steve Forbert's "Romeo Tune."
Fans attending the Knoxville concert are sure to hear songs from his latest album including his hits "Once in a Lifetime" and "Stupid Boy." Earlier sensations such as "Somebody Like You" and "Days Go By" are also sure to be heard among some possible surprises.
If you are not interested in cowboy hats or leather pants, but you want to check out some popular country music, be sure to see Keith Urban this Thursday when he brings his contemporary country to Thompson-Boling Arena.

If you're not a country music fan, go anyway. You'll be entertained. With his guitar playing, conversations with the audience and music, you'll either become a fan of his or you'll say 'it was well worth the cost of the ticket!' I've been hooked for over 3 years and sorry to say I won't be there tonight but I'll see him tomorrow night in Nashville!
