Many experts believed the ACC was the power conference in women's basketball this season, but during the NCAA tournament, the SEC has risen to the top by having three teams in the Elite Eight.

Two of the remaining SEC teams meet Tuesday night when Tennessee and Ole Miss clash in the Dayton Regional Final.

The two teams met once during the regular season, with the Lady Vols coming out on top 81-69 in Knoxville.

In that contest, Tennessee got a huge game from Candace Parker who finished the day with 25 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.

Shannon Bobbitt also contributed 15 points in the first match-up.

Through the first three rounds of the NCAA tournament Parker and Bobbitt have been the most consistent players for Tennessee in its wins over Drake, Pittsburgh, and Marist.

In the three games Parker is averaging 20 points and nine rebounds, while Bobbitt is the only other Lady Vol to score in double figures in each contest.

Tennessee has been more impressive on the defensive end of the floor, however, giving up under 46 points per game in tournament play.

Ole Miss advanced to the program's first Elite Eight by defeating TCU and pulling upsets over Maryland and Oklahoma.

Leading the way for the Lady Rebels has been Armintie Price and Tennessee-native Ashley Awkward.

Price, the team's superstar, has averaged 27 points and eight rebounds while Awkward has put up 20 points per game in Mississippi's three tournament victories.

In the first matchup between the two teams the duo was held to just 23 combined points, but in the eyes of Tennessee's All-American the Lady Vols have more important things to worry about than the Lady Rebels' offense.

"I think the difference will be taking care of the ball and rebounding," said Parker.

The winner of the game will move on to the Final Four in Cleveland and take on the winner of Purdue-North Carolina.
