Tennessee Quarterback Erik Ainge has been pulled from the rest of spring practice for what is thought to be a torn meniscus.

Ainge was having a productive spring thus far, but will be unable to continue due to a potential upcoming surgery.

Nobody could point to a specific time when the injury occured to the senior quarterback.

It is possibly a lingering injury that has gotten worse over the past week.

Rehab from his surgery could take anywhere from 4-12 weeks.

Ainge will be back in plenty of time for the majority of summer workouts.

The Vols will play without Ainge for six more practices before the annual EdAmerica Orange and White Game on March 31.
