Ever wonder what is involved in studying abroad? The University of Tennessee will host a Study Abroad Fair Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center ballroom to answer students' questions.

International students will be at the fair to give students information about the countries they call home. There also will be information about financial aid and several different study abroad organizations at the event.

The Study Abroad Fair is always informative and fun. -- Todd Steed, a coordinator in the UT Programs Abroad Office

Todd Steed, a coordinator in the UT Programs Abroad Office, hopes this event will give insight to UT students looking to expand their education by studying around the world.

"The Study Abroad Fair is always informative and fun," Steed said. "It's a really unique chance to meet the experts in the field as well as students who have just returned home from their experience. The Study Abroad Fair gives students a chance to meet our entire staff in one place at one time."

Having a strong study abroad program is an objective tied with one of UT's latest initiative, Ready for the World, which moves to increase students' understanding of different nations and cultures.
