A University of Tennessee Bible study group associated with Volunteers for Christ will hold weekly meetings every Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the west multipurpose room of Reese Hall.
The primary items of interest at the meetings include discussion of Bible scriptures and fun activities such as "chair football," said group member William Gilbert, a UT sophomore in engineering.
"The group is really fun," Gilbert said. "It's a small group of about eight to 15 people, and we go in to read scriptures in-depth and talk about things like what they mean."
At each meeting a designated person begins the discussion about a chosen scripture. Gilbert said that no reading is required prior to attending the meetings because handouts are supplied.
Although most members are Reese Hall residents, the group is open to any Christian UT student, regardless of denomination, Gilbert said.

Nice to know that meetings like this are available in such a large "party" school. I am glad that it is open to all denominations - How about those who are still struggling with what they believe - would they be welcome, I wonder?
